Bringing the message that freedom of body, mind, and spirit is possible through education and application of life skills.

We see it in the news every day: disturbing stories about drug crimes, gang violence, alcohol related deaths, domestic violence, and murder. Adults and youths are exhibiting destructive behaviors, many as a result of poor choices made early in their formative years. But what if children could learn how to recognize opportunities, both good and bad, evaluate them for their potential impact on their future, and tap into a series of Life Skills education enabling them to make the best choices for a promising and productive life?

“A Generation Free”, a non-profit foundation, believes this is possible and necessary. Founded by Mikael Luman, “A Generation Free” was created to advocate and build awareness around the need for the teaching of Life Skills to children in grades K-12. These skills include classes on setting measurable and reasonable goals; breaking goals down into manageable pieces; understanding accountability; and surviving adversity in daily life.
